Curtain call for my outright book and my final bet will be on Sinner. I really can't see past him for the title and so I want to reduce my liability which I've done at 1.53 and that leaves me looking at a loss on him but a manageable one. I'll be losing twice as much if Shelton manages to win and I've got nice green on Zverev and even nicer green on Djokovic.
For the WTA, Swiatek getting knocked out wasn't the worst thing for me as it means Sabalenka is a strong favourite for the final when she might otherwise have been the underdog. If Sabalenka does win it'll be a very nominal loss and if it's Keys it'll be a loss similar to my liability on Shelton.
All things considered I'm pretty happy with how the tournament has gone. I took some good prices on the Men's side and I've got a guaranteed finalist and a chance at a decent return, and on the Women's side it's been a bit of an uphill battle since Gauff got knocked out and a small loss if Sabalenka ends up winning will feel like success under the circumstances.
It's only fair to say that if both Sinner and Sabalenka win as expected it'll have been a losing tournament for me, but as I mentioned in an earlier post this is just one tournament and across an entire season I've historically made good returns in the outright markets. If you get the prices right then the results will come and I'm happy enough that I've taken good prices more often than not during this tournament.
