My only other impression i took from this is that Harman wasn't put under enough pressure and even with that proviso he wobbled and could well have been caught and passed given a stronger challenge.
Agreed. Even taking into account the lead he had at the start of the final round, when you can win a tournament posting +3 then you've definitely not been put under enough pressure. At one point it looked like Novak might ask Harman some questions, but he fell away before any real pressure was applied and that allowed Harman to fall over the line somewhat.

Well it was going the way I thought after Selby won 7 frames in a row but I'm glad John managed to dig in and take the next 5 frames for a brilliant victory! You've got to think these two will have a great chance in Sheffield.

Added 3 more for interest in case the leader bottles it. Total of 6 points staked. Hisatsune is now at 50/1 maybe experience caught him out in this but at 22 years old he is a good prospect going forward.
Reasonably happy with this, maybe day 4 additions should have been kept to just 1 but there you go. I got a great run out of Hisatsune at 125/1 & 200/1, inexperience and a bit of discipline caught him out towards the end but he has got real talent and is only 22 so i will keep him onside as long as the price is right. Aberg is turning out to be a disappointment for his followers, this tournament was a good opportunity for him. Looking forward to the Masters now see what i can come up with my instinct is to not play on the first day but i may stick a big price one on if i can justify it. My only other impression i took from this is that Harman wasn't put under enough pressure and even with that proviso he wobbled and could well have been caught and passed given a stronger challenge.
