Martin Pipe Handicap Hurdle History
The race was introduced in 2009 and is named in honour of Martin Pipe, a highly successful National Hunt trainer from Somerset, who retired in 2006. Pipe was champion trainer on fifteen occasions and won thirty-four races at the Cheltenham Festival.
