Away from the main ITV races, our accumulators and festivals tipster Karl Hedley has selected four runners for consideration in a Lucky 15. A Lucky 15 bet involves 15 bets across four different selections. Your bets are 4 single bets, 6 doubles, 4 trebles, and 1 four-fold accumulator. Due to single bets being included, one winning selection is enough to trigger a pay-out to give you something of a lift as he seeks to add to our 15/2 winner last week.
All of today’s selections look to be well handicapped and with a bit of luck, they can find their way to the winners’ enclosure. So, read on for the best Lucky 15 tips for New Years’ Day.

12-35 Lingfield Hazel Bear @ 7/2
Hazel Bear can continue the good recent run of Jamie and Saffie Osborne. The father and daughter combination tend to do well at this time of year and they have struck three times within as many weeks with their handful of runners. Hazel Bear made a promising debut over this course and distance just three weeks ago when third Maso Bastie at huge odds. With the benefit of experience, the chestnut filly can land this on what is only her second career start. Likely to be given a similar hold up ride again today, she can strike against her lesser experienced rivals.
3-30 Lingfield Villalobos @ 7/2
Villalobos is still completely unexposed and he clearly has a liking for this track. The Richard Hughes trained four-year-old has won and been runner up in his last two starts around here. Stepping up to this ten-furlong trip has not been an issue for this gelded son of Footstepsinthesand. Finley Marsh was only just denied on him around here back at the end of November where they went down by less than a length to Star Of Epsom. They are reunited here today and no surprise if they were to improve on that here. Villalobos has only been raised two-pounds for that recent success at Chelmsford and there is plenty more improvement to come.
6-00 Kempton Chloellie @ 6/1
Chloellie makes a quick reappearance here following a first run back in four months at Southwell just last week. Sent off an unconsidered 25/1 shot, the eight-year-old mare tried to make all under Clifford Lee. They only gave way in the closing stages having been pounced upon by the strong travelling Win Win Power and a couple of other hold up types. Having won off a mark as high as 68 in the past, she looks to be a blot on the copybook getting in here off just 44. If she could return to anywhere near her best for John Jenkins, she would win this pulling a cart. Now that she appears to be none the worse for that run last week, she has to be considered.
8-00 Kempton Sun King @ 8/1
Sun King may well be the forgotten horse here. He was last seen finishing third in an ultra-competitive Golden Gate Stakes Handicap at Royal Ascot back in June when trained by Aiden O’Brien. Prior to that run he had put up some good performances in Ireland in particular at the Curragh, Navan and Bellewstown. Today he makes his debut for George Boughey and with the form of his last race being franked all over the place subsequently, he has to be of interest here. He is still completely unexposed after just seven career starts to date. Daniel Muscutt takes the ride and if fit enough, they should be right in the mix.
