Well, not for the first time, we got 3 out of 4 last weekend, but we go again this weekend and attempt to search for the value of the weekend. A few teams have had some European football this week and as I type, Arsenal and West Ham have both played with Man United due to play, also. If a team doesn’t rotate their squad then it could spell some issues. So, let’s dive in to the upcoming games as I provide my accumulator tips for the weekend.

Everton vs BRENTFORD (3PM, GMT, Saturday)
I’m kicking off with The Bees taking on The Toffees, at Goodison. Everton have most certainly improved since Dyche has taken over. They had 2 home wins in a row to start his reign but since their first taste of home defeat, to Villa, they’ve gone and lost 4-0 to Arsenal and thrown away a lead twice, to draw 2-2 at Forest.
Now they return home again on Saturday but Brentford look good at the moment and they’ve not lost in 12 matches.
Although, they do tend to draw a lot of matches and the threat here will most definitely be that outcome but I think Brentford are value. They got a good point against Arsenal away and they’ve beaten West Ham 2-0 at the back end of December. Brentford have scored in 8 of their last 11 away matches.
Leicester vs CHELSEA (3PM, GMT, Saturday)
I was quite surprised to see Chelsea beating Dortmund 2-0 in the Champions League and with the slight tweak in formation for Potter, I think Chelsea look a better team. With Sterling back now also and with The Foxes recent form, I’m siding with Chelsea on this one.
Leicester was my go-to team to be scoring goals at the very least from a BTTS perspective but in the last 3 matches, they’ve not scored 1 goal and have lost 3-0 to Man U, 1-0 to Arsenal and 1-0 to Southampton.
Whilst Chelsea are still struggling to score (one of their goals in the CL win was a penalty) they can be assured to know that Leicester have conceded in 9 of their last 12 matches at home and have failed to score in half of their matches at home. Chelsea by all means don’t have a good away record. They’ve actually not won away for the whole of this year. Their last win away was October believe it or not. However, it looks like they’re on an upward curve. Perhaps it’s time they start winning again.
Leeds vs BRIGHTON (3PM, GMT, Saturday)
Third pick is Brighton to carry on winning after that impressive thrashing of West Ham last weekend. Brighton are back in the top 4 in terms of form for the last 8 matches and come into this match with the ability to move into 6th position in the league, with a win.
Meanwhile, Leeds are only outside of the relegation zone on goal difference and despite the fact they beat Southampton in their last home match and they look like they’re struggling for goals which is something Brighton are not.
Brighton beat Wolves 3-2 away, Southampton 3-1 away and Everton 4-1 away and as well as score draws against Leicester and Palace. They do tend to score and a lot of the time it’s more than 1 with 7 of their wins being a (-1.5 handicap) win. They’re my final pick for the weekend.
So we had 3/4 last weekend and I was tempted to add Spurs as my 4th pick here. It’s not happening. We can get 10/1 on this treble and that’s a nice price to break this duck and get a win.
