We’re down to the penultimate week of the conclusion, of the Premier League season. After this game week has concluded, we have a couple of mid-week ‘game-in-hand’ matches, to get everybody up to 37 games and then the final week of the Premier League season, on May 28th (Sunday 16:30 pm). We already know who will win the title now, as Manchester City are 4pts clear with a better goal difference. Manchester City only need to win one match in their final 3 and with all due respect, they’ve only lost 4 all season, let alone 3 in a row.
We still are unknown on Champions League qualification and also relegation positions. It’s looking mainly like 4 teams at the bottom, with 2 places in the bottom 3. Newcastle, Liverpool & Manchester United are fighting it out for CL positions.
The 10/1 treble hit last weekend and is the 2nd 10/1 over the past 3 weeks. Let’s hit another before the end of the season, so here are my top Premier League accumulator tips for the weekend.

LIVERPOOL vs Aston Villa (3 pm BST, Saturday)
This is a big match for Liverpool. They’re on such a great run of games at the moment, which spans 7 wins in a row. Manchester United have a game-in-hand over Liverpool and so the final 2 matches are ‘must-wins’ for Liverpool. At home, Liverpool are especially strong and have not lost since Leeds in October. Their only defeat at home of the season, in the Premier League.
You could argue Aston Villa have had an overachieving season and they’ve won 6 of their last 8 at home. However, the away form has been somewhat patchy recently and they now find themselves 8th in the league and in danger of missing out on European Football. They face a battle with Tottenham which could go down to the final game.
I think Liverpool win this one. Villa have lost their last couple in a row and whilst they’ve played solid teams, Liverpool also needs the points.

FULHAM vs Crystal Palace (3 pm BST, Saturday)
This one was a hard one to call but I’ve gone with Fulham. I thought about the draw but the home advantage and the return of Mitrovic swayed me. Fulham has now won the last 2 matches, although it’s been against the bottom 2 teams. They also produced solid displays against City and Liverpool. They started with Mitrovic on the bench in the win over Leicester but his performance when he came off the bench showed his class.
Crystal Palace have now got themselves out of trouble, thanks to Roy. They’ve had some decent results, also, and have won 2 of their last 3 matches. One big loss for Palace though will be the injury of Wilfried Zaha. He went off injured and looks to be out for some time. All in all, Fulham is the pick to edge this one.

WOLVES vs Everton (3 pm BST, Saturday)
My third pick is Wolves to beat Everton. I think Wolves are a nice price this weekend as the bookies are obviously ignorant of how good their home form is. They’ve won the last 4 in-a-row at home and 6 of the last 8. The 4 wins back-to-back for Wolves have been without conceding even one goal. They are very strong in defence. Ironically, despite beating the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea, the defeats for Wolves have been against bottom teams such as Leeds and Bournemouth.
Everton looks like the third team to go down, for me. They completely folded against Manchester City and now have just one win from their last 8 after a strong start under Sean Dyche. They had a brilliant away win over Brighton prior to the Man City defeat but they won’t have that much freedom against Wolves. I think Wolves come through with another low-scoring game.

Bournemouth vs MANCHESTER UNITED (3 pm BST, Saturday)
My final selection is Man United to beat Bournemouth. Man United are battling with Newcastle for the third spot. They need a win here as they have a much inferior goal difference to Newcastle. Man United have lost 2 of their last 3 but got back to winning ways at home, beating Wolves 2-0. Away from home seems to be the weakness for Man United with just 2 wins from their last 8 but Bournemouth do not look like a team that will punish United, for me.
Bournemouth are safe for another season whilst Man United need the points. Man United looks the pick.
