We take a look over the weekend’s action in respect of the both teams to score market. This BTTS weekend accumulator tips feature 5 selections as we kick-off March. Check it out below.
Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace – BTTS (YES) – 3pm, GMT, Saturday
It seems like I stick Aston Villa up every weekend for the BTTS but the fact is that 67% of the time Unai Emery’s team is at home, the BTTS is a hit. 45% of Crystal Palace’s matches away have also seen BTTS. The Eagles’ lack of goals do worry me but with just two clean sheets at home this season out of 12 matches, it looks like Villa give plenty of chances to the opposition. Villa have only failed to score twice at home in 12 and Palace have only failed to score away 5 in the 11.
In the last 4 meetings between the pair we’ve seen both teams score. This has consisted of two wins for Palace, one victory for Villa and a 1-1 draw in there, too. We’ve seen 14 goals in those 4 matches combined.
Brighton vs West Ham – BTTS (YES) – 3pm, GMT, Saturday
I’m then going for Brighton and West Ham to both score. The Hammers have only kept one clean sheet away from home this season. Brighton’s form is pretty good coming into this one with only 1 loss, 2 draws and 3 wins in the last 6 matches played.
On the flip side, despite David Moyes witnessing his team suffer such poor away form, they scored 4 goals at home against Nottingham Forest and they looked threatening away at Man United. I think there is enough about them to at least grab a goal away to the Seagulls.
Southampton vs Leicester – BTTS (YES) – 5.30pm, GMT, Saturday
My third selection is Southampton against Leicester in the evening match. 73% of The Saints’ home matches have gone BTTS whilst 58% of Leicester’s away matches have also gone that way. The Foxes have only managed 3 clean sheets from their 12 away matches. Southampton have not kept one clean sheet at home this season.
Everything really points to both teams scoring at St Mary’s.
Liverpool vs Man United – BTTS (YES) – 4.30pm, GMT, Sunday
Liverpool take on Man United on the Sunday afternoon at Anfield. 50% of Liverpool’s matches this season, at home, have seen BTTS. Manchester United has seen 58% of their away matches go BTTS. Liverpool have managed to keep a clean sheet in half of their home matches but Man United have only failed to score away from home once this season.
Brentford vs Fulham – BTTS (YES) – 8.00pm, GMT, Monday
I complete my accy with Brentford playing Fulham, which is scheduled for Monday evening at the Bees’ Gtech Stadium in a local London derby. Thomas Frank’s men have only failed to score at home this season twice in their 12 matches. Marco Silva’s side have only failed to score away this season 3 times from their 12 league matches.
I normally like to stick to around 4 teams for my accys but we’re going to stick 5 in this weekend.
