Monday, May 15th at 20:00pm at The King Power Stadium, Leicester City will host Liverpool. It’s a massive match for both as Leicester are 2pts away from 17th-placed Everton and by the time these two kick-off, Leicester will know Everton’s result. Liverpool are still searching for Champions League football and Newcastle and Manchester United also would have already played, pre-match. Here are my free football tips for the game.
Foxes with tough finish to the season
Leicester have a really tough looking last 3 matches in the Premier League. They have Liverpool on Monday and then Newcastle away. Completing the season with West Ham at home. A fitting finale for Big Sam to face his old side. Especially as West Ham will most likely not need the points.
Leicester have won 1 and drawn 2. Losing just 1 match in their previous 4. In their last 4 home matches, they’ve got a 2-2 draw with Everton, beaten Wolves and lost to Bournemouth and Villa. They do have the ability on their day to get a win against most teams but they also tend to concede a lot of goals. With 64 goals conceded this season. They’ll need to tighten up at the back here and also be sharp in front of goal.
Reds in fine form
Liverpool has now won 6 in-a-row in the Premier League and goes into this match in 5th position. However, Manchester United, above them, have a game-in-hand. As well as a point ahead. Liverpool does have the better goal difference, though. If Liverpool can win their remaining fixtures then you would think that it should guarantee them Champions League football again, next season. Especially as Manchester United have now lost two in a row.
Liverpool have managed to keep clean sheets now in back-to-back fixtures, also. Alisson now has 13 clean sheets, just 2 back from De Gea ironically, who leads the way with 15. Liverpool have failed to score 41% of the time away from Home, this season. Leicester has only kept 3 clean sheets, at home.
Head-to-head
Liverpool has won the last 4 at Anfield. However, at the King Power, Leicester have won the last two. 1-0 and 3-1. It’s probably fair to say that Leicester were probably in a much better place last year, though.
Leicester City vs Liverpool Betting Tips
I think we’ll see Both Teams Score in this one. Leicester are not playing great football right now but they’ve scored at home in 7 of their last 10 and Liverpool have only kept 4 away clean sheets. Liverpool should get the job done, though.
