Away from the main ITV Racing tips action, our accumulators and festivals tipster Karl Hedley has selected four runners for consideration in a Lucky 15 tips preview. A Lucky 15 bet involves 15 bets across four different selections. Your bets are 4 single bets, 6 doubles, 4 trebles, and 1 four-fold accumulator. Due to single bets being included, one winning selection is enough to trigger a payout to give you something of a lift.
All of today’s selections look to be in with decent chances and, with some luck, they can find their way to the winners’ enclosure. So, read on for the best value Lucky 15 horse racing tips across the meetings from the UK and Ireland.
We got some money back last week following the success of May Blossom (9/4) and we are looking to add to that today.

15:25 Thirsk – HARSWELL DUKE @ 7/1
Trainer: Roger Fell & Sean Murray
Jockey: Jonny Peate
Harswell Duke really loves to get his toe in so conditions here at Thirsk should prove ideal for him. This comes on the back of a three-month break and jockey Jonny Peate who rode him to victory earlier in the year at Doncaster races has once again been booked to ride. He remains fairly unexposed compared to a few of these rivals. Many of his competitors have endured long hard seasons whereas he comes into this relatively fresh. Taking into account his jockey’s three-pound claim, he has to be considered here.
16:30 Doncaster – COLD STARE @ 6/1
Trainer: David O’Meara
Jockey: Kieran Shoemark
Cold Stare is beginning to look dangerously well handicapped on the best of his old form and despite racing only a couple of days ago, may well have a big say in the finish here. His last win came over six furlongs on soft ground and that is exactly what is on offer this afternoon. Kieran Shoemark doesn’t ride all that often for David O’Meara so the jockey booking could well be significant. Customary cheekpieces are once again in place and with conditions in his favour he ought to be capable of going close.
17:05 Doncaster – EY UP ITS JAZZ @ 9/2
Trainer: Tony Coyle
Jockey: David Nolan
Ey Up Its Jazz has first-time cheekpieces applied this afternoon as he bids to get back to winning ways. He enjoys testing conditions and proved he stays this trip on similar ground with a decent win at Thirsk races back in May. He was just touched off at Beverley around a fortnight ago and now has David Nolan taking over from regular pilot Tom Eaves. That run last day should have put him spot on in relation to fitness and no surprise to see him bounce back to score a third career win.
17:20 Goodwood – LIBERTY LANE @ 13/2
Trainer: Karl Burke
Jockey: Paul Mulrennan
Liberty Lane is taking a step back in grade here having gone close at Newmarket racecourse last time. The three-year-old son of Teofilo is bred to thrive in these underfoot conditions and the handicapper has seen fit to lower him another pound in the ratings. Paul Mulrennan comes in for what is a first-time ride and this will be the first time this season that he will have finally got his type of ground. His run last time was given a small boost with his conqueror Dutch Decoy going so close at this meeting yesterday. The yard has already enjoyed success here this week with Royal Rhyme and they may well have some more luck here.
