Away from the main ITV Racing tips action, our accumulators and festivals tipster Karl Hedley has selected four runners for consideration in a Lucky 15 tips preview. A Lucky 15 bet involves 15 bets across four different selections. Your bets are 4 single bets, 6 doubles, 4 trebles, and 1 four-fold accumulator. Due to single bets being included, one winning selection is enough to trigger a payout to give you something of a lift.
All of today’s selections look to be in with decent chances and, with some luck, they can find their way to the winners’ enclosure. So, read on for the best value Lucky 15 horse racing tips across the meetings from the UK and Ireland.

16:15 @ Sandown – Aramaic (8/1)
Trainer: William Haggas
Jockey: Tom Marquand
Aramaic now gets the aid of a first-time tongue tie which could bring about significant improvement for him to land his first win since September last year. The five-year-old gelding has already had a couple of runs this season and should now come here fully fit. He has clearly had problems that kept him off the track for almost two years, but he looks as though he is slowly but surely coming back to himself.
He has the assistance of regular rider Tom Marquand in the saddle this afternoon and he has a 20% strike rate when partnering with William Haggas-trained horses. Whilst Aramaic has to reverse form with the likes of Lord Protector and Paradias on his most recent run, he is substantially better off at the weights with both today. He cannot be ignored and looks like a player here.
16:25 @ Haydock – Gweedore (8/1)
Trainer: Katie Scott
Jockey: Rab Havlin
Gweedore has tons of experience in handicaps similar to this and has stamina proven over a furlong further than this trip. It looks as though rain is expected to get into the ground here at Haydock and that can work in the favour of this six-year-old gelding. He seems to be improving with age and recorded a win off a career-high mark at Musselburgh racecourse back in April.
He is another six pounds higher here, but he has run well on the last two occasions that he has run at this track and with him now in the form of his life, he has to be respected. Rab Havlin takes the reins for the first time this evening and he should be in for a good ride. The pair have to rate as live dangers to the rest of this field.
17:00 @ Haydock – Johnny James (4/1)
Trainer: Michael Appleby
Jockey: Frederick Larson (3)
Johnny James comes here in search of a quick-fire hat-trick and he only made his racecourse debut back at the beginning of last month. He has taken to this game rather well for Michael Appleby and readily stamped his authority all over his rivals at Southwell last time despite giving weight away all around.
Today marks his handicapping debut, but he is reunited with Frederick Larson who bids also bids for a third straight win on him. He also claims three pounds from his partner and the talented duo has to command respect over this extra furlong.
17:25 @ Sandown – Orchestra (6/1)
Trainer: Ed Dunlop
Jockey: Will Buick
Orchestra has maintained his form well since making his seasonal reappearance at Kempton racecourse back in March. The three-year-old son of Golden Horn seems to have adjusted to this middle-distance trip quite well and even won over a trip just shy of this at Beverley in May when partnered by Clifford Lee.
He is just four pounds higher in the ratings here today and with the ground turning a little bit softer, these conditions ought to suit him well. William Buick has a 25% strike rate when teaming up with Ed Dunlop and this combination looks one to be feared.
