Away from the main ITV races, our accumulators and festivals tipster Karl Hedley has selected four runners for consideration in a Lucky 15 tips preview. A Lucky 15 bet involves 15 bets across four different selections. Your bets are 4 single bets, 6 doubles, 4 trebles, and 1 four-fold accumulator. Due to single bets being included, one winning selection is enough to trigger a payout to give you something of a lift.
All of today’s selections look to be in with decent chances and, with a bit of luck, they can find their way to the winners’ enclosure. So, read on for the best value Lucky 15 tips at Taunton.

15:10 Taunton – DANCINGONTHEEDGE @ 4/1
Trainer: Paul Nicholls
Jockey: Bryony Frost
Dancingontheedge has been slowly stepping up in trip and ran the best race of his short hurdles career so far when finishing second to Karakoram over this course and distance last month. The front pair pulled some ten lengths clear of Justshortofabubble, indicating that the form could well be worth following. The form has already started to work out as one of the runners who finished in the mid-division (Just Go For It) has subsequently cone out to win at Wincanton. If turning up here in the same form today, he has to have every chance of adding to the recent good form of trainer Paul Nicholls.

15:45 Taunton – O’FAOLAINS LAD @ 4/1
Trainer: Richard Ford
Jockey: Gavin Sheehan
O’Faolains Lad progressed with each run a couple of seasons ago accumulating in back-to-back wins at Wincanton and Newton Abbott. Whilst he has clearly had his problems, this looks to be the ideal starting block following 546 days off the track. Any further drying out of the ground would help improve his chances as too will the fact that many of his rivals here have endured a long hard season. He is still open to improvement and given that so many of the horses that he beat last time have come out and won numerous races since (including Jony Max, Catch The Cuban and Write It Down), he has to command serious respect.
16:20 Taunton – TAKE YOUR TIME @ 6/1
Trainer: Paul Nicholls
Jockey: Bryony Frost
Take Your Time could well prove to be the forgotten horse in this line-up. The eight-year-old has had his sights lowered here having disappointed twice at Chepstow this season. He has now been given a chance by the handicapper as he is eight pounds well in on his best form. Bryony Frost has won on him before and takes over in the saddle for the first time in two years. He has his ground and his trip, so he does have a lot going for him. If Bryony can rejuvenate him back to somewhere near his best, he could prove lethal off bottom weight.
16:55 Taunton – SECRET POTION @ 20/1
Trainer: Chris Down
Jockey: James Davies
Secret Potion looks vastly overpriced in the penultimate race given that he is only one of a few who have proved themselves at this trip. He has been dropped a further three pounds by the handicapper since his last run meaning that he is now on a career-low mark. He has hinted that the old fire still burns with a promising run on the flat at Kempton back in November. In what is ultimately a terrible race given the form of his rivals, he may well be worth a small risk.
