Away from the main ITV races, our accumulators and festivals tipster Karl Hedley has selected four runners for consideration in a Lucky 15 tips preview. A Lucky 15 bet involves 15 bets across four different selections. Your bets are 4 single bets, 6 doubles, 4 trebles, and 1 four-fold accumulator. Due to single bets being included, one winning selection is enough to trigger a payout to give you something of a lift.
All of today’s selections look to be in with decent chances and, with a bit of luck, they can find their way to the winners’ enclosure. So, read on for the best value Lucky 15 tips across the meetings from the UK and Ireland.

13:55 Chepstow – ROCK OF STAR (4/1)
Trainer: Alexandra Dunn
Jockey: Nick Scholfield
Squeezing in at the foot of the handicap is the up and coming six-year-old Rock Of Star. He took advantage of a career low mark to slam his rivals by nine lengths over three miles over this course and distance. Despite a hike in the ratings since, this soft ground will prove key to his chances. Nick Scholfield comes in for the ride this afternoon and with his mount having shown dramatic improvement over this trip at the first time of asking last month, Rock Of Star can continue his winning ways.
14:15 Newcastle – EAST STREET (11/4)
Trainer: Sue Smith
Jockey: Ross Chapman
East Street recorded his first win of the year at Wetherby just a couple of weeks ago. The race pretty much fell into his lap as all of his rival bar one either fell or pulled up. Conditions here are due to be quite similar and he races off just a one-pound higher mark. Ross Chapman takes over in the saddle from Brian Hughes as he is on duty at Aintree. Most of these find winning hard to do so the fact that East Street arrives here in good heart should speak volumes. The trip will pose no problems for him and he looks likely to give a bold account.
14:50 Newcastle – HOLMES ST GEORGES (7/2)
Trainer: Stuart Crawford
Jockey: Ben Bromley (5)
Holmes St Georges has maintained his form all season long and he should relish every part of this testing ground on Tyneside. The relatively small yard of Stuart Crawford has been in great form of late and won a big handicap with Ailie Rose at Fairyhouse on Monday. It is interesting that they have decided to come here rather than remain at home and contest local races where the prize money is significantly better. Holmes St Georges has looked none the worse for having a couple of months off during the season and no surprise to see him make the most of his stamina now that he is drooping back to two miles.
16:00 Newcastle – THUNDER IN MILAN (4/1)
Trainer: Lucinda Russell
Jockey: Stephen Mulqueen
Thunder In Milan made the most of a career low mark to get finally shed his maiden status at Musselburgh last month. That win will have boosted his confidence and he is likely to progress further now that he has finally put his head in front. He has been raised just four pounds for that success and with him still only being a seven-year-old there is still plenty of time for him to mature into a decent staying type for Lucinda Russell. Stephen Mulqueen who won on him last time is back on board and the pair can account for older and more exposed rivals.
