Away from the main ITV races, our accumulators and festivals tipster Karl Hedley has selected four runners for consideration in a Lucky 15 tips preview. A Lucky 15 bet involves 15 bets across four different selections. Your bets are 4 single bets, 6 doubles, 4 trebles, and 1 four-fold accumulator. Due to single bets being included, one winning selection is enough to trigger a payout to give you something of a lift.
All of today’s selections look to be in with decent chances and, with a bit of luck, they can find their way to the winners’ enclosure. So, read on for the best value Lucky 15 tips across the meetings from the UK and Ireland.

14:15 @ The Curragh – Harry’s Hill (13/2)
Trainer: Martin Hassett
Jockey: M W Hassett
Harry’s Hill makes a lot of appeal from the foot of the handicap in what is the opening day of the Irish flat season. Partnered by Wayne Hassett, who is able to claim ten pounds from his partner, the five-year-old son of Heeraat is already proven over the course and distance. In what is very much a family affair, the sixteen-year-old jockey rides for his father Martin. He also rode his first winner of the year when guiding Joseph O’Brien’s San Andreas to win at Dundalk just a couple of weeks ago. They look to have a positive draw in stall three and should give a bold account.
15:25 @ The Curragh – I Am Superman (16/1)
Trainer: M O’Callaghan
Jockey: W J Lee
I Am Superman will find life in this company a lot easier than the Group One race he contested most recently out in Dubai. He absolutely relishes testing conditions and was just beaten a head in a similar race at Caulfield back in November. He has to carry top weight in this large field and that won’t be easy, but he has a good draw in stall three and the assistance of Billy Lee in the saddle. That last run three weeks ago should have set him up nicely in regards to his fitness and no surprise to see him bounce back to form in this wide-open handicap.
15:57 @ The Curragh – Kerkiyra (6/1)
Trainer: J P Murtagh
Jockey: Shane B Kelly
Kerkiyra is a dual course winner who should be ready for this race at the first time of asking. She was consistent all of last season and won a couple of valuable handicaps over slightly longer trips here. She has customary headgear on once more and plenty of use is likely to be made of her given that her stamina is guaranteed. Shane Kelly went close on her before in a race at Leopardstown last season and he can do so again. Johnny Murtagh has a knack for winning races like this as a trainer and no surprise if they start the season brightly.
17:07 @ The Curragh – Starting Monday (5/1)
Trainer: Gillian Scott
Jockey: W J Lee
Starting Monday is one of the very few horses to have conjured up a previous win over this course and distance and that will count for a lot in a race of this nature. He remains only one-pound higher than his last winning mark and in a race where many of his rivals have struggled to find any form whatsoever, he looks like one of the more obvious contenders. Billy Lee knows the horse well and has been the only jockey to ride him to both previous career wins and the pair have to be high on any shortlist.
