Away from the main ITV races, our accumulators and festivals tipster Karl Hedley has selected four runners for consideration in a Lucky 15 tips preview. A Lucky 15 bet involves 15 bets across four different selections. Your bets are 4 single bets, 6 doubles, 4 trebles, and 1 four-fold accumulator. Due to single bets being included, one winning selection is enough to trigger a payout to give you something of a lift.
All of today’s selections look to be in with decent chances and, with a bit of luck, they can find their way to the winners’ enclosure. So, read on for the best value Lucky 15 tips across the meetings from the UK and Ireland.

16:10 @ Ripon – COPPER KNIGHT (11/2)
Trainer: Tim Easterby
Jockey: Duran Fentiman
Copper Knight is beginning to look dangerously well handicapped as he slips in here at the foot of the weights. He hinted that a return to form may not be that far away as he was a solid fourth to Live In The Dream at Pontefract just a couple of weeks ago. That came on the back of a near six-month absence and now that he should be fully fit, he can go close to ending his losing run since June 2022. He has raced at this track before and was placed that day and Duran Fentiman keeps the ride on the nine-year-old son of Sir Prancealot.
17:15 @ Ripon – DARKNESS (5/1)
Trainer: David O’Meara
Jockey: Danny Tudhope
Darkness stayed on through beaten rivals when the mud was flying at Redcar just the other day. Similar conditions look to be on the agenda here and he gets in off the same mark for the same stable that won this same race twelve-months ago. If handling the underfoot conditions once more, the five-year-old son of Siyouni will not be far away. Although winless since arriving in the UK last Spring, the was fully at home on soft ground in his native France when trained by Jean Claude Rouget. His run behind The Cookstown Cafu last time signalled a revival and it should pay to stick with him today.
17:50 @ Ripon – ANOTHER BAAR (4/1)
Trainer: Adrian Keatley
Jockey: Hollie Doyle
Another Baar made a successful debut in handicap company over this course and distance last time out. Despite a hike of six-pounds in the ratings, the three-year-old son of the mud-loving Mayson finds himself at the foot of the handicap proper. He remains completely unexposed in this sphere and the booking of Hollie Doyle certainly catches the eye. He seemed to thrive on the back of a near six-month absence and the run should have brought him on immensely. Previous course and distance winning experience could well hand him the edge over his rivals and he commands respect.
18:45 Doncaster – CELSIUS (7/2)
Trainer: Tom Clover
Jockey: Jack Mitchell
Celsius has won when fresh a couple of times in the past so the 224-day break should be of little concern to punters. Many of his rivals here today are either woefully out of form and are trying to find themselves once again. Jack Mitchell gets on well with the seven-year-old and has recorded the two most recent wins on him at Newmarket and Ascot. He has gained seven wins from just twenty-six career starts and he looks set to embark on another decent campaign. This could be a canny mover by his trainer to get him going for the year and he cannot be ignored.
