The Classic Novices’ Hurdle is a grade 2 novice hurdle run on trials day in January on the New Course over a distance of 2 miles 4 furlongs and 56 yards.

The winner is likely to be seen contesting the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle at the Festival in two months’ time.

The Sky Bet Novices’ Hurdle is a Grade 2 hurdle race run at the October meeting on the Old Course over a distance of 2m and 87 yards.
