Pertemps Handicap Hurdle Overview
The Pertemps Handicap Hurdle is a Premier Handicap open to horses aged five years or older. It is run over 2 miles 7 furlongs and 213 yards of the new course. Run on the third day as the second race the participants will need to jump twelve hurdles.

The most noteworthy winner has to be Willie Wumpkins who scored on three consecutive occasions between 1979 and 1981 whilst other noteworthy winners this century include Buena Vista (2010 & 2011), Presenting Percy (2017) and Sire Du Berlais (2019 & 2020).
