Newcastle Racecourse is a dual-purpose racecourse located at Gosforth Park in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Newcastle racecourse was first established in 1882 with the biggest meeting being the Northumberland Plate, held in June.
Newcastle hosts both all-weather flat and jumps racing, with the Fighting Fifth Hurdle and Eider Chase being two of its other notable jumps races.
